CONSUMER LAW PUBLIC SERVICE FELLOWSHIP
About
The Consumer Law Public Service Fellowship is a newly established fellowship offered to support the summer employment of a designated Suffolk University Law School student engaged in public service in the field of consumer rights and protection.
The Consumer Law Public Service Fellowship will be awarded to a Suffolk Law student who demonstrates an interest in and commitment to issues of consumer law, rights, and protection. The individual chosen will be paid a $7,000 stipend for a ten-week full time summer position in a Massachusetts governmental office or nonprofit agency engaged in consumer protection work. While it is not necessary to secure an internship prior to applying for the Consumer Law Public Service Fellowship, the award will be contingent on obtaining a placement with an eligible employer. The Consumer Law Fellow may secure his/her placement independently or with the assistance of the Rappaport Center.
Applicant Eligibility
All Suffolk Law students in good academic standing who are not in their final semester are eligible to apply.
