2009 RAPPAPORT FELLOW ANDREW SABINO

NAME: Andrew Sabino
YEAR: 2009
SCHOOL: New England Law/Boston
INTERNSHIP: Office of the MA Attorney General

Andrew Sabino recently completed his first year at New England School of Law. He is a 2005 graduate of Tufts University, where he majored in International Relations and German Studies. Andy spent his first year after graduation teaching English through the Fulbright Program in Austria, where he taught high school-aged students in two business-oriented vocational schools. Upon returning to the United States, he worked at the Arab American Institute (AAI) in Washington, DC. As an associate in AAI’s communications department, Andy focused on issues such as the Middle East peace process and civil liberties and civil rights in the United States. He plans to build on his interest in the latter field through his summer placement in the Civil Rights Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
