| Nanda Bose is a member of the Boston College Law School class of 2003. She completed her undergraduate work at Duke University in 1997 with a double major in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Spanish. In college, Nanda was involved in a number of community service programs including a local battered women's shelter and a national literacy program for children. Prior to coming to law school, she worked in San Francisco at a non-profit public policy and advocacy organization that sought to empower low-income minorities in California. Nanda focused on issues of affordable housing, community reinvestment by financial institutions, diversity, small business development, and fostering joint community-corporate-government partnerships on many policy issues. She hopes to continue working on community economic development projects, especially focusing on advocacy for affordable housing and quality education in low-income neighborhoods. Nanda was born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland. |
