2001 RAPPAPORT FELLOW LUCINDA RINGER

NAME: Lucinda Ringer
YEAR: 2001
SCHOOL: Boston College Law School
INTERNSHIP: U. S. Attorney's Office, Criminal Division

Lucinda Ringer completed her first year at Boston College Law School. She grew up and spent her first 261/2 years in Lake County, Illinois. She came to Boston to pursue a law degree after six years of working in the social services there. She spent two years as a domestic violence counselor for a battered women's shelter and four years as the Director of Volunteer Services for a rape crisis center. She credits the strength and courage of the survivors she served for her determination to go to law school. Lucinda worked full-time throughout her undergraduate program. She majored in Psychology and received her Bachelor of Arts from Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois, in 1996.
