2002 RAPPAPORT FELLOW PATRICIO ROSSI

NAME: Patricio Rossi
YEAR: 2002
SCHOOL: Northeastern University School of Law
 
Patricio Rossi is entering his third year at Northeastern University School of Law. He grew up in Cambridge, Maryland and graduated from Brown University in 1996 with a B.A. in History. He worked for a year after college at the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights. Prior to entering Northeastern, Patricio worked for two years as a Housing Advocate at Crossroads Family Shelter in East Boston. In his two years at Northeastern, he has completed internships with Superior Court Justice Raymond Brassard and the Appeals Division of the Essex County District Attorney's Office. He is an active member of the Latino(a) Law Students Association and has served for two years on Northeastern's admissions committee. He has also volunteered with Shelter Legal Services. Patricio currently lives in Winthrop with his fiancee, Laura, and their dog, Sola. His favorite activities include hiking, playing soccer, going to Red Sox games, and traveling to Peru to visit family. Patricio's summer internship is with Citizens= Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA), where his work on affordable housing policy includes drafting legislation and developing an outcome measurement model to analyze the effectiveness of CHAPA's advocacy program.
