2004 RAPPAPORT FELLOW C. THOMAS BROWN

NAME: C. Thomas Brown
YEAR: 2004
SCHOOL: Harvard Law School

Thomas Brown just completed his first year at Harvard Law School. He has worked in both the private and public sectors, as a strategy consultant and a high school English teacher in Braintree, Mass. His policy interests include legislative and judicial process, and the intersection of public and private efforts in large-scale development projects. He will spend his summer at the Massachusetts Port Authority, where projects range from airport-related litigation to waterfront development along Boston Harbor. Originally from North Carolina, Thomas is a longtime resident of Cambridge. He did his undergraduate work at Harvard College, and took the M.Phil. in English Literature at Oxford University, where he was a Marshall Scholar. His community commitments beyond school include the Earthen Vessels tutoring program in Dorchester, and The Church of the Advent in Boston, where he is Clerk of Vestry.
