NAME: Anjan Mishra
YEAR: 2004
SCHOOL: Harvard Law School

Anjan Mishra just completed his first year at Harvard Law School, where he is a member of the International Law Journal. During college, he served on the governing board of the university's umbrella community service organization, coordinated a volunteer tutoring program at Manhattan's P.S. 165, and was active in combating relationship and sexual violence as a leader of the student group Columbia Men Against Violence. Prior to law school, he worked as a Project Manager in the Revenue Division of the City of New York's Department of Parks & Recreation. As Project Manager, he oversaw the development and operations of over one hundred businesses, which included golf courses, marinas, mobile food vending, parking lots, restaurants, skating rinks, and tennis facilities. In this capacity, he also represented the Department on the Queens Borough President's Flushing Meadows Corona Park Coordinating Committee. This summer, Anjan will further pursue his interest in local government law while working on policy research and legislative drafting with Massachusetts State Senator Jarrett T. Barrios.
