| Erin McGill Nobles is a member of the Suffolk University Law School Class of 2005. She is the Managing Editor of the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy and an executive member of the Moot Court Honor Board. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. As a participant in the Psychology Honors Program, she became interested in risk factors affecting childhood resiliency when she authored an original study on pre-adolescent self-perception, which was presented at the Southeastern Psychological Association Annual Convention in 2001. After graduation, Erin worked for Hillsborough Reads, an AmeriCorps program focusing on childhood literacy. As a Community Outreach Coordinator, she recruited, trained, and supervised community volunteers working with at-risk public school students. She also developed and taught a skills-building class for teen parents called, "I Read to My Baby!" After completing her first year of law school, she worked as an intern for Community Catalyst, a Boston-based national health policy organization that assists community advocates with legal health care issues. This summer, Erin will work with the Family Advocacy Program, a medical-legal collaborative housed at Boston Medical Center that works to promote child health. |
