| Elizabeth (Betsy) Kent is a member of the class of 2007 at Suffolk University Law School. She completed her Bachelor in Fine Arts at Boston University as a University Scholar in 1998 and her Masters in Education Administration, Planning and Social Policy at Harvard University in 2002. Betsy has experience as a fundraiser and grant writer for non-profit arts organizations, as a high school English Teacher, and as a Research Project manager at the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Previously, Betsy served as the Co-President of the Harvard business and Education Alliance, as a volunteer mentor to students at risk in Health Adventures and as a sponsored runner for the Leukemia Society in the 1999 Boston Marathon. This summer Betsy will be working on an education policy project for students with learning disabilities at the Office of the Legal Advisor to the Boston Public Schools (http://boston.k12.ma.us ). |
