| Jeff Bussell just completed his first year at Suffolk University Law School. He has a master’s in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern Maine’s Muskie School of Public Service, and a bachelor’s of science in Environmental Studies from The George Washington University. He is interested in a number of areas of law, particularly consumer law and bankruptcy. Prior to attending law school, Jeff held a variety of positions, including a fellowship at Health Care For All – a healthcare advocacy organization in Boston. He also interned at Coastal Enterprises, Inc – a community development corporation in Wiscasset, Maine, where he researched the subprime mortgage market, foreclosures, predatory lending. He will be working this summer at the Massachusetts Division of Banks where he will be assisting in the drafting of new regulations for mortgage brokers, and working on other projects related to home foreclosures. A Maine native, Jeff lives in Sanford, Maine with his wife Kate and his dog, Harriet. To the astonishment of his classmates and professors, he commutes to Boston each day on the Amtrak Downeaster. |
