Established by friends and colleagues of Garrett Byrne, JD '24, DJ '55, LLD '79. Recipients of awards from the Byrne Scholarship fund are selected on the basis of distinguished academic performance and an expressed desire to perform public service. Covich Family Scholarship Fund
Awards are made to graduating female students who demonstrate need and are pursuing a career in public service/social advocacy. A separate application is required during the academic year. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
Barbara Connolly Hughes Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2005 by John M. Hughes, Sr. as part of the Centennial Scholarship Program, this scholarship will be awarded to a current female third or fourth year student (or students) with demonstrated financial need and exceptional academic strength. Preference will be given to Suffolk University Law School students currently working in education or a related field or to students who have a demonstrated interest in providing criminal defense counsel to the economically disadvantaged. John J. Droney Scholarship
Established by family and friends in memory of John J. Droney, JD '42, LLM '47. This award is made to a deserving Evening Division law student interested in criminal law, particularly as a prosecutor. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
