Nonprofit legal service providers, government agencies, and community organizations may
request student volunteers to provide law-related service. While we cannot guarantee the
availability of volunteers, the Pro Bono Program will publicize all appropriate opportunities
to the Suffolk Law School community and will assist interested students in contacting placements to volunteer.
To request student volunteers, complete the Volunteer
Request Form.
Before completing this form, please review our Pro Bono Student Participation guidelines to determine whether your project meets the definition of “pro bono” for our
law students.
Also, in completing this form, please keep in mind the requisite time commitment and specify
the type of project for which you seek student volunteers. Pro bono projects usually fall
into the following categories: (a) one-time event; (b) one day (or portion of one day)
per week for a semester on-site; or (c) remote assistance, such as research or drafting,
done on student's own schedule by a specified deadline.
If you have multiple projects, please complete a separate form for each.
