RAPPAPORT CENTER FOR LAW AND PUBLIC SERVICE

CAREER ADVISING AND STUDENT RESOURCES

Through the staff and resources of the Rappaport Center, Suffolk Law fully supports and advances students interested in public service. The Center is led by highly experienced attorneys who work closely with each student to identify summer and postgraduate employment and fellowship opportunities that best match his or her interests and passions.

We provide:

  • Cover letter and resume review;
  • Career development programs and informational sessions relating to public service opportunities;
  • One-on-one career counseling and advising services;
  • Public service online and in house resources;
  • Information about fellowships, scholarships, and loan forgiveness;
  • Connections to the extensive network of Suffolk Law alumni involved in public service; and
  • Weekly e-newsletters with public service employment, programming and resource information.

Help for Graduates

Are you a recent graduate of Suffolk Law finding yourself face to face with a difficult job search, transition or law firm deferral amidst the economic downturn?

The Rappaport Center has developed a plan to help you through these troubled times. As part of a larger law school effort - Suffolk's Own Stimulus - the Rappaport Center is dedicating substantial resources towards identifying meaningful volunteer opportunities in nonprofit organizations and government agencies.
